When I was searching for my 12 the first bike I looked at was at CW, 06 plate 9.5K miles nice extras but they wanted £6.5K and only offered £2.25K for the SV. They wouldn't budge to £2.5K for my bike (and I would have ridden home on the Beemer). Went home on the Suzi.
My m8 recommended Ocean (Plymouth), they had 4 or 5 12s in stock with my 07 silver example with 200miles on the clock
for £7.5K, they gave me £3K for the SV and the Beemer still had 9 months genuine warranty left.
Sometime you have to weigh up what's right for you, but £8K is still going it a bit! although I'm happy if it keeps the resale value up on my machine.
As an aside another m8 has just put a deposit down on a rather nice Candy Cane with 3.5K miles, nearly std good condition, private with an advertised price of £5.9K
