I had a week in Wales earlier this year, and the roads were fantastic. We stayed in Bala and covered a reasonable amount of the country in our week.

For an Engineer like myself, seeing the LLangollen Viaduct was a highpoint.

If my son is not competing that weekend (I will know nearer the time), I will try to join you all for the rideout.

Excellent Jim,

Try and stopover for the group dinner :) If you're up this way again let me know I'm about 5 mins from the horseshoe pass cafe

Will do Steve.

They were resurfacing parts of the horseshoe pass when we were there so we did not get to play the way we wanted.

I am supposed to be doing a cycling event next year that goes up the pass. Not sure if I will be fit enough though.
