My bike

Postby sussexgirl » Tue May 06, 2008 1:06 pm

Er, nothing special about it, it's a blue 2005 r1100S; currently with panniers. There is just something about this bike that grabs me...I can't stop looking at it.

Hey, what can I say? I couldn't ride an RT if I wanted to, and I couldn't afford a f850...this is the girls' sports tourer du jour

Nice tidy example sussexgirl - I notice it has the shorter GS torque arm fitted - is this your choice?

Regards from the chubby one - Neil.

Thought I'd replied to this...

Thanks for the nice comments on my bike. Like I said it is a dream to ride.
I didn't know it was modified in any way, but it was described as having a sport-suspension package. Anyway nice to know...I even think I know what you're talking about now.

The short torque arm isn't a mod on this one - the later Sport package had a 310mm shock (std was 313mm) and short arm. Early Sports had a longer shock than std, and a standard (385mm) arm.
