The 1050 is a great bike,try rideing it two up,it's bloody nightmare,with passenger perched out in the breeze,the VFR is a good'un if you like small motors,linked brakes and your prepared to play 'Dixie' on the gear lever.
In stock trim i'm no lover of the S either,but rather than sell it, i've turned it into what i want and it's all the better for it,i bet the cost of bits comes no were near what some people have spent on various bikes.
I thought the brakes on the fazer thou were the same as on an R1, R6 and Fazer 600. I can only vouch for the Fazer 600: they were rather good...one finger controllable and enough power to make your eyes bulge.
