Taken with my mobile on the B6342 this afternoon, midway between Alnwick & Rothbury (who said it's grim up north?!). Bike's an '05 R1100SS (5.5 rear wheel), been in my ownership for almost 18 months. Fitted with clear lenses, rear LED, Lasers, shock-mounted c/f hugger & black screen. Mark

Thanks chaps. It's a comparatively rare colour I think, possibly only seen on later UK market 11S's. It's got a lovely deep metallic shine to it and looks great in the metal.
Ps The roads up here are fantastic - easily amongst the best in the UK. Put them on your "must-do" list - I promise you won't regret it!

Hey GeordieBoy, don't go telling all these southerers about our fantastic uncrowded roads otherwise we'll never get moved for interlopers. I know this road like the back of my hand and your right its supurb. I was along there on Saturday, a bit wet but still great.
Great pics and by far the best and fastest colour, mines the same
Cheers, Cobbster.
