Nice ass ...
Did some public relations today and visited the MegaMeeting, organised by www.motor-forum.nl. Only spotted one R1200S among a few hundred bikes ... and it was mine. Some one else spotted it too and put it online. Here's some more pics that give an impression of the event.

PS. thanks for the stickers Paul
Thanx. Me like it too. Looks good, fits good, sounds good. It's from Zard but you won't find it on www.zard.it. It's exclusively sold by www.wunderlich.de

Yes indeedy, that exhaust is sweet looking.
The clear lenses are a nice touch. Think it's time to get a set for my 1100. I'm after a stealth bracket for the number plate to get rid of the black plastic around the no. plate light. IMHO in might tidy up the 1200 even more.
Are Zard claiming extra horses with their exhaust?

OK winter is coming early this year!!! Had a good think about this today and as they say ''You only live once''. Akra is just to much money, The Remus looks pants to me and I'm just not sure about the Laser or HPE offerings so Zard is now ordered and hopefully will be fitted in time for France. Just have to economise in other areas.

Good one for you! To save money i'm on a diet of water, cheap beer and macaroni pasta for a month now ..... you'll get use to it and even lose some weight
About the Zard and its performance; this is what Wunderlich has to say about it:
Power, professional Sound-Engineering and a worldwide unique design results in a powerfull expression for the new S: a dynamic rear end, which is a much better fit to the S.
A deep boxer-sound, in high rev-region changes to an exciting racing sound. On top of that, the ZARD-technicians where able to achieve a more powerfull and harmonic torque deployment. The boxer will now thumper from 'Drehzahlkeller' (love this word) until the magic 8500 rpm..
The rear end will not only appear narrower and lighter, but actually weight less.
Freeflowing absorption muffler with extreme little counterpressure.
Up to ca. 4000 RPM dull growling - above that, the S unfold its full power blow by blow from the exhaust, like you used to hear only form the old BMW-racerbikes.
Over a large rev-range an extra 6 HP and 5 Nm is claimed.
Powerfull, harmonic power deployment.
Weight saving and fascinating looks.
Durable construction (in and outside completely Stainless steel).
Easy to mount.
EG-ABE approved.
Fits with either the original or with our Aluminium-numberplate bracket Legere06".
Excuse me for any odd English lines; neither my technical German nor technical English is sufficient to complete a 'a motorcycle is Born' episode without causing serious damage to tools, myself or the bike in question
At least it will give you an idea what to expect.
I bought it mainly for the looks. Don't really know about the performance increase. It does run through the higher revs very easy now. No hesitation to run in to the red zone (didn't hit the limiter yet though).

Bugger,
Still going to be in stealth mode for next weeks trip to France, Zard exhaust isn't due from Italy until next Wedensday and then has to be forwarded on to me. Guess that the residents of Melle can't blame me for any noisy antics (would I) next weekend!! Should be sorted for Burton though.

Had a go on the German 'Autobahn' this morning. It run's easily to 250 km/hr (on the speedo) at 8500 rpm, and still acceleratiing (though slowely) with 500 rpm into the red zone to go. Ran out of track due to traffic, so couldn't quite go to the limit. Also had some difficulty tuckin in behind the windscreen 'cos of the tankbag..
