I've had a search but it all seems ABS related. I have a year 2000 without ABS. In order to bleed the brakes is it simply a question of loosening off the bleed nipple and pump the lever/tighten nipple/pump lever etc until new brake fluid can be seen coming through the other end, basically just like my car,
or.....does the servo assistance have any additional say on the matter in affecting what I should do?

As far I am aware it is just a case of pumping the new fluid through either using a proper bleed tube or loosen your nipple (!), squeeze lever in and then tighten up nipple and so on.
If you are changing the fluid then remove as much as you can from the reservoir, put new fluid in and then do the bleeding bit but remember to keep the fluid topped up and lots of rags under the reservoir just in case.
Same process applies to front & rear brakes.
Always easier to do with 2 people.

Servo assist didn't rear it's ugly head until a few years after your bike so standard bleeding rules applyjohnl wrote:I've had a search but it all seems ABS related. I have a year 2000 without ABS.
