Has anyone bought a stand for their R1200S yet? I was hoping to adapt an old Ducati single sided stand I have but it goes in from the left hand side so won't be any good. I've also got an NWS stand (similar to ABBA) which normally mounts in the swinging arm pivot - any ideas where I could use this on the 1200S?
Thanks, Paul

As far as I can tell, the best value paddock stand for the R1200S is the BMW one
Not the workshop stand which is way too expensive ( now there's a surprise ), but the accessory stand. You might need to make your dealer look at the fiches a bit harder.
The list price is about £124 inc VAT, and it is useable for either the R series or the K series. Large and plenty strong enough, it has a very long operating arm making it very easy to use.
I sell paddock stands but I still bought one.

As an alternative, have a look at Anderson's Stands site here in Oz. They ship o/s but I reckon they could do with a dealer/distributor in Europe.
A mate who's a local suspension guru uses them exclusively and can't say enough about them. It's very good gear though a little pricier than some.
BTW, they don't show a R1200S stand on site at present but they do make it - it's a mirror of the K1200S stand.

A little inaccuracy saves a tonne of explanation.
