Philistines...
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Black is good but have you ever tried keeping a matt black bike looking good. NIGHTMARE  One of the guys in Northampton had a Ducati in matt and he was obsessive with the cleaning and still couldn't keep up to it.
Gus, I tried fishing for Mr C earlier but I didn't get a bite either, think he must be chilled 8)

Now lets check Ebay for the mountain of Corbin panniers that are about to be put on the market 8)

Panniers are a necessary evil for touring, and it shows that some companies are trying their best to fulfill our needs....for a price!

I use the Givi voyager throw overs - not brilliant, but not that bad either. They only cost about £80 and have lasted for a few years and can be used on other bikes. I put that rubber type matting between the panniers and the bike to prevent them rubbing on the paint, and it also stops the pillion from sliding about.

I've got a 'Held' tank bag that is very useful as well as BMW tank bag. The 'Held' bag is perhaps a bit bigger than the BMW and possibly a bit less bulky.

Dave ... can see where you are coming from regarding Southport Superbikes. Where do they get their prices from?

And who buys at that price :?

It's not just the price of their stuff tho Paul - their whole attitude is just one of total indifference and "can't be arsed" unless you're about to spend megabucks with them. Then when they have your money out comes the "not interested" hat again. I personally hate that attitude, which is why I never shop there unless I REALLY have to.
