Anyone know if the top yolk and bars from a Rockster can be fitted to one of these? 2003 Twin Spark with high bar kit.

Hi 11s
>> top yolk and bars from wundrlich<<< Thanks for the info. I've seen those but me being cheap and them at 280
I've just got a spare top yolk that is claimed to have come off an R1100RS. If it goes on my fork legs etc. I'll graft the bar risers from the F650 Classic as I've got a pile of bits handy. I may rubber mount the bars as well. Another option is getting pillars turned up to take the bars off the S. I've got a few spare hoses as well. :D

As I'm trying to sell the bike I don't want to invest dead money.

Has anyone tried fitting a GS top yolk and either GS or R1150R bars? Logic suggests that it should fit an S unless the offset (steering stem to fork legs) is different. Certainly cheaper than the Wunderlich one, which is not only expensive but a bit 'bling' for my tastes.

Hi 11s,

I am looking to purchase the wunderlich bar conversion kit. Did you have to puchase a new brake cable, clutch and throttle cable in order to make it fit?

Is it a DIY job?

Many thanks,

Don't LSL do a bar conversion for the S? I've seen their superbike bar conversions (and the one they do for the R1100R) which are very neat and nice quality with it.

Anything to not give the robbing b*stards at Blunderlick (also known as 'think of a number and double it') any money.
