Recommended Tuner For Warwickshire area

Postby smudger7 » Mon Apr 03, 2006 9:30 pm

Have tried JHP but they cannot help, I have a bike tuned by the previous BMW technician with Vanderlinde exhaust, chip and gas flowed head. I think it does not ride smoothly especially when cold and may be running too rich?
Can anyone recommend a Company to check it out and tune as necessary(Jim Cray hell of a trip).
When I jumped on my V-Raptor as I was gob smacked at the massive difference in power and torque so think my BM is off the boil.

Thanks in anticipation.

I think you'll find that the Suzuki engine is considerably more powerful than the old aircooled moter in the S  and is a lot better balanced engine from the start. The Vanderlinde + chip works very well as a stand alone, can you find out what the previous 'tuner' did to the motor apart from gasflow the heads? If he's put lumpy cams in it will ride pretty poor on the road unless you are going full warp speed (sic)
There is another guy who does boxer engines at Sleaford if you want his details
