Dear god - what were BMW thinking of????? My daughter can colour in better than this. It disgusting! Can you tell the shape of the bike with a colour scheme like this? I can't! BMW need to clear out their "colouring-in" team and get a new bunch of 5 year olds to do the job. On what world does this look good????

Looks just like Sandbars' creation with the c/f and marlboro pink to me

Julian - Spot on!

I stared at the red/white one and couldn't decide what it looked like. Now I see it! :?

Cheers!

I'm not sure about the design, it doesn't 'flow' as well as the current S and as Chris mentioned, it's too single purpose. I'm sure it's a hoot to ride and can probably cover ground at a surprising rate of knots but it's lost the all round ability of the current S.

I'm not ruling out a test ride though :D

Adam :)
Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.

I quite like it (yellow/black) God knows how much though especially if you want the factory fitted Ohlins and 6 inch wheel. No hard luggage though.

Regards Peter.

I'm not too sure about the nose/headlight area.
Quite like the rest of it tho.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like it! In fact I think I'll copy the pattern onto the Lizard, but in dayglow yellow and green.

If it's not for you, exercise your choice in the showroom. Bland yellow and black (or just black) it's been done already...not for me.

If enough is enough and more is better than too much should be just about right.

Mmmmm..... Not sure I'm ready to splash my hard earned on that. I do of course reserve the right to change my mind at a later date when I've seen on in the flesh, but...

not as bad in silver...
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

...... and I wanted to like it so much. :( The front ain't as pretty as the S. Where on earth do you sit? That little ol' pad won't do me farmers any good on a long run.
I bet the bike is a blast to ride though :P . I reckon a 2 hour test ride would have you grinning like a Cheshire moggy, but any more in a day would wipe the smile from your face.
Anyone think touring would be practicable on this steed?
It looks a tadge too focussed for my biking requirements, although I hope I'm wrong.
Pedro, you really looking to sell your GS? What's up with it?

I think its fantastic and have decided that it'll be one of these rather than the K1200S. Just want to know the price and how to get round the French 100 bhp limit.
