Help needed from EU resident

Postby andy griff » Mon Jul 11, 2022 9:23 pm

Hi to anyone good enough to read this post. I am looking for a bit of help from someone living in mainland Europe.

I have a Schuberth S2 sport, great helmet but need some spare parts for the lining (cheek pads and neck collar). Internet and supplier search reveals that no-one in the UK has the bits, but several outlets in Europe have. So, ordered the bits- apparently no proble until 24 hrs later when the suppliers tell me they will not ship, even though the bits are under the £150 HMRC import duty limit. Presumably there is still bureacracy involved.

So, I am looking for anyone who would be kind enough to receive the bits on my behalf and post on. I would be really gateful and of course cover the costs and a contribution for the inconveniece via Paypal or other platform. This is the postBrexit world I'm afraid for us UK folk.

Thanks Buzz!

Latest news is that these guys https://www.tradeinn.com/motardinn/?utm ... =motardinn
have accepted the order and say tyey have despatched the goods. I await either the parcel or communication from PO/Parcel Force on behalf of HMRC. The tension is building
