Marquez.

Post by boxerscott »

Not been an avid follower of bike racing recently, Covid etc. However always interested in the form and browse the hookie upload highlights. The Jerez gp showed another massive Knee and Elbow save from Marquez fighting for a podium slot. Remarkable endeavour after the punishment he has been served. I hope he`s back.

Tbh Chris, I think the days of Marquez are over.
He thinks he's the dogs bolloc*s and imortal, and he isn't on both counts.

I also think he's a bit of a weasel. The smiling assassin comes to mind.

Bless him. He'll keep throwing that Honda down the road.

Well... you may be right.. time will tell. Everyone has their moment. Hope he does not bash himself up too much chucking that Honda into the airfence!

Seems to be the case at the moment. Suzuki have indicated that they intend to quit MotoGP at the end of 22.

Sports bike sales are irrelevant now. Perhaps they should have MOTO GS!

You might be onto something there Chris. [smilie=hmm.gif] There could be a handicapping system based on how many meals they have to deliver from the "meals-on-wheels" aluminium panniers during the course of each race [smilie=whistle.gif]
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

I see he is getting yet another operation to try to fix his arm. If that doesn’t work, he might not be back. I’m not a big MM fan, but he is a hell of a racer, and managed one of his miracle saves a couple of weeks ago. Haven’t seen him do that for a while. So I have to wish him well, and hope that his arm is fixed this time. It’ll be a shame if his career is cut short by this stubborn injury.

I think his arm is 'fixed' but has some knobbly protrusions which are interfering with his shoulder joint, and the operation is to grind these off and restore full movement.

He's a great rider, but I've never liked him since he rode Moto2 like he was playing skittles.
