Re: DIY gear indicator
Looking good. That display is right up my Straße and I'd be in the market for one.

Hang on. The project is on hold while I continue to reassemble my bike...

Nice work Buzz90. If I still had an 1100S, I'd order one without hesitation.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

This looks GREAT!
I shall do some more reading but it looks like it will fill a gap on my project
(1100GS and I dont think to use the normal RID as I am re-wiring the whole thing)
Thanks!

Thanks for all your kind comments.
Sorry for the lack of recent news. After a few weeks of use, I'm working to improve the displayed information.
I shall try to improve direct sunlight readability as well, but that would sacrifice to the global integration of the module...

Re: DIY gear indicator
Since the last news, the hardware has nearly not evolved (apart from the AR lens).
The software however has changed a lot and especially the display layout.
I mainly wanted the voltage and oil temperature information to be more visible.
I have worked on the logic for the adaptative brigthness and a few other features, but I'll show that in an incoming video.
Let me know if you have remarks on the UI or wishes.
