Back home from a small but excellent Boxertrix weekend. Chris led an 'elite?' group of Trixsters on a fantastic 200 mile route of Dumfries and Galloway. Great roads, little other traffic and excellent stops - perfectly timed for my 'old man's' bladder capacity. Steve W was so impressed he's staying today and doing it again, in the reverse direction. Big respect for Steve, Plymouth is a bit further to come than from Cupar!

Chris has promised to rerun the route next year on his new light-weight Honda V.

The support team (Jeff & Wendy, Reg & Gwen, Tracy & (oops forgot the friend's name  ) and not forgetting Amanda of course, who must be regretting going to Stobo Castle instead of coming with us :D, were all great company and the meet up at Clatteringshaws worked perfectly. Dave and his team did a good job looking after us and from what I hear the Balmoral was excellent too.

Roll on the next one

Thanks to everyone who endeavoured to make this a quality weekend. It was a very satisfying end to our holiday and the endeavours we all went to to make it happen in these times.

Steve W. You are something else mate!

Thanks for asking Amanda to organise it Chris  - a great weekend, lots of laughs and good to catch up with folk.

Good run out on Saturday - glad it was dry, but I think I had my heated grips on all day.

Only disappointment was not seeing you on your new bike.

Cheers

Al

Just arrived home at 3pm,244miles in mainly sunshine with tops off.No crumpled MX5 or airbags gone off, which is a big bonus over last time. We all 4 had a fantastic time, thanks to Chris & Amanda for their hardwork and as usual faultless hospitallity. Not tried them all,but think theirs is the best B&B in Scotland if not the world. Looking forward to the next time, where ever it might be.

Hi Chris
Just arrived home after a long ride down today from a very wet Moffat - approx 1,400 miles for the weekend
Many thanks to you and Amanda for organising the weekend.
The route in reverse was good with even fewer people around on Sunday expect at the comfort stop on the coast, that was very busy with bikers - obviously a popular stop.

Again good to catch up with everyone and hope to see you all next year.

Steve

Have to agree with all the comments, Big thank you to Chris, Amanda & Al for organizing this. Even the weather mostly played fair. Lets hope that by the spring the worst of the current situation is behind us and we can get back to some more weekends away - - Might even sort one myself again!!

Sorry I missed you in the marquee as I got a special order from Claudios Image an offer I couldn’t refuse.

I saw the big GS Parked outside and figured you’d be having a super time. Turned out there are some other Porsche drivers on a mission so Sunday was interesting. I took this en route to Selkirk...

So I had fun. Looking forward to more of the two wheeled variety in 2021.

Someone has to blink first and suggest a date - 9/10 Oct............. why not?

(hint - it doesn't have to be someone local to Moffat to organise it, what with this newfangled internet malarkey)
