R18 landed

Well I'm not a custom bike fan but I have to say the new R18 ... 1800cc is very well done, looks lovely with some great details

I’ll get that added to Chris’ spreadsheet..........

Have to say - looks great!

(Must use buckets as pistons! )
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

If I had £19,000 to spend (price from MCN), I would not be buying one of those.
I think I'd rather have a 1940's era restored Harley or even a 1970's Craig Vetter Triumph Hurricane.

But that's just me and as this is an attempt at selling to the "Harley dudes" type of "image is all" motorcyclist, then I think it will probably sell well.
Especially if Mr Parry sends a few sales expeditions downstairs to the Harley showroom.

Just as an additional incentive to prospective purchasers .... the riding modes on the R18 have been renamed.

Most modern BMW's display
Dynamic
Normal
Rain

The R18's are
Rock
Roll
Rain

hahaha

I happened upon a couple of them today, not for me but they will sell to the fashionista

From what I could see they have an analogue speedo in kph only
Vulnerable cooler location and looks out of place, but where else could it go?
Tacky '1800cc' badge screwed on engine case
Exhaust end tips are unbelievably sharp, there will be ripped polishing dusters

I have to say I quite like it. Mind you my eyes are overdue a test.
This has to be the biggest boxer engine that will ever be built and it must be a laugh to ride. How many will be sold in the Uk I don’t know, it’s more a State side bike surely?
The appeal to me is that you wouldn’t see another one on your coffee stop.
Now, where did I put the number for Specsavers?
