According to this statement in the Northern Echo just going out for a ride isn’t allowed.

Commenting on the large number of motorcycles that have been seen in the Yorkshire Dales since the lockdown rules were altered last week, Insp Gee said: "Many motorcyclists genuinely seem to think they are legally covered to just go for a ride out. Under the current regulations this is simply not the case.

"We know that the majority of riders don't want to cause any harm or upset to local communities, but they need to realise that if they break the law as it stands the police will have to take action."

way I see it is that now those clowns have given out new fudgy parameters re travel the new front line is Police. The last thing they want is a load of tools congregating anywhere on a bike cycle in a camper or on foot, As NIcola says if you are thinking you are doing normal things you have got it wrong. I would not dis anyone going for a ride but acting like normal going to the normal hang outs to dick about is not in the spirit of things.

Resurrecting my R1100S to the road today - fork seals need doing on the F800ST.
Mot booked for 3.30pm and that is 12 miles away.
Will take a longer route home but still only about 30 miles in total.

Oh, she passed ok Jon (spent the weekend checking it all over and fixing a dead horn - thanks Mr Parry).

Took the thermal linings out of my Rukka as I have put a lockdown stone on and can't fit into my airflow summer trousers.

Blazing hot sun and about half the number of cars about as per the old normal in Shrewsbury - but I did stick to country A and B roads there and back.
Amazed at all the potholes that have been fixed - some loverly smooth corners now.

Forgotten just how effortless and torquey the 11S is compared to the F800 where you have to buzz it all the time, thoroughly enjoyed my short blast and realised I am really out of riding practice so took it steady - ish!

John, not your best choice of phrase!!

My BCR is half stripped at the moment andI haven't used it for 2 years. I was sort of forced to use it for a few weeks and remember the first ride and I HATED it. But after 4 days riding to work I loved it all over again. Lots to do to get it pristine again ( major thing is an engine re paint - tips
/ suggestions/recommendations) but I'm looking forward to riding it again and your post reinforced my feelings (apart from Steve fixing your dead horn!!

Dave the Hannovarian

Your mind has clearly been affected by lockdown and is now working in a devious way compared to the workings of normal people.
If you are trying to insinuate some sort underhand goings-on - Mr Parry has a new pussy to play with, he is also still in lockdown Wales with Police guarding the border with ANPR.
I will give you the benefit of doubt - clearly delivering the nations arse wipes is a tough and demanding job in these loo roll depleted times and the pressure has taken its toll.

I know what I meant as does Mr Parry, and that is all that counts!

Keep on trucking!

  Sorry but I couldn't resist!!
The bog roll depleted times appear to be over - inside information has told me one of the large outlet is having a toilet roll promotion. Doesn't appear to be much point as so many senseless idiots have their spare room stashed with loo roll.
