Busted Pannier....

Post by biker_smith »

Hi all,

I just bought and picked up today a '02 R1100S - very happy.

Between the pickup and getting home one of the pannier locks broke - unbelievable!

Anyway - can I fix it?

I guess I can gain access to the mechanism by drilling put the rivets from inside the box - then what, can I buy the correct bit from BMW?

Photo should show the issue!

Thanks - Paul.
