Re: Aftermarket stuff
TBQH, having spent a pile of dosh on a new bike I naturally wanted it to be as good as the reviews. Having only covered 900 miles (mostly 2 up) I have no negatives whatsoever. I have ridden it solo for sporty rides on roads I know well and kept it in two up mode. It feels fast although it is actually conservative to the speeds I would have done on the Duc but with head up as opposed to head down the bike is easier to ride and the road easier to read. The quickshift is a very good rider aid. It works well going up the box from 3rd upwards when the revs are rising swiftly. The trick bit is the down shifts scrubbing off speed and no fear of locking up the back wheel. It really does expand the mind to engaging with the machine rather than excusing it due to clumsy human synchro with left and right hand. The revs have to be up for it to work well. Abs has not been tested yet. It really is a confidence inspiring machine and a perfect two up tourer or just a perfect all round road bike.Mitch1100 wrote:Sweet, how do you find the electronic gadgetry and quick shift ?
