Sandbar Show Bike

It has taken 6 or 7 months to get this finished, and now I have decided that I ought to sell it. Only 500 miles in 12 months  means that it is just wasted sitting around in the garage!!

The question is:

Do I sell as is and then have a complete BCR kit for sale, or do I return it to standard and sell the carbon body (and other bits) and the wheels separately?? Decisions, decisions decisions.

Surely the question is: Will you be able to sell it in those colours?
Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.

I don't know! I haven't got round to thinking the whole thing through.

The BCR kit would be enormous. All the bits on the show bike that are different to the standard BCR are replacements. There is nothing from the original bike that has been modified or painted. So the BCR kit would include all the bodywork, lights, wheels, very nearly new Sportecs, mudguard, valve covers and carbon fibre valve cover covers, bellypan, no. plate holder, starter cover, heelguards, exhaust, alternator cover etc etc etc. It would be ideal for someone that has had an 'incident'. The bike is a BCR, 03/03 with 4068 miles with ABS, heated grips and auxiliary power socket, 2nd annual service in March at 3950 miles.

If you are serious about it then I will work it out, but I think that it will be better for me to sell it as a standard bike, and then sell the carbon parts separately.

Ok Fair enough, I just always wanted the bcr colours, I should of held out for a BCR in the first place. Thanks anyway.

If you did Gus, you can have most of it back now, because I used stickers on the side panels and the bellypan.

Another question could be ; How easy is it to sell 2nd hand carbon bits for a discontinued model that no longer has a race series to help get them out the dealers :?:
