Thanks Andy.

PP consisted of darkening the sky about 1 stop and giving the shadow areas a little help, not much more. Mono conversion was done in Silver Exex Pro 2 with red filter.

I've been very pleasantly surprised at how good the camera is in the iPhone, it definitely produces useable images.

Impressive shot Richard - that sky! And from a blimmin phone  Just goes to show that what's most important is knowing what could make a good shot, how to compose it and then what to tweak afterwards. Even with a couple of grands worth of camera I'm sure I couldn't come up with something like that. Bravo :notworthy:

At Montrose Field, North Sea. Perfect weather for it.

Thanks Mike - you're most kind. :)

I'll admit the camera in the iPhone 6 is actually very good indeed, and has been a most pleasant surprise. If I'm out and about and just 'see' a photo that needs to be taken, then the phone does a great job. The Wigsley Tower was one I took whilst out driving for work - saw this old tower and had to have a snap of it. The skies/field one below is about 5 mins drive from our house:

Travelled down to Cambridge to visit an old friend who I haven't seen in 30+ years. Got to meet her 2 Springers, one of whom is Bertie (who's so utterly gorgeous I could've brought him home):

Note to self: I really must take a decent camera to work in case there's a typical 'Lincs Sunset' on the way home. We may not have mountains in Lincolnshire but ye gods do we get fantastic skies. :)

Took this on the iPhone 6s...

Lovely image, Mitch - always great to see kids enjoying a positive relationship with animals, and dogs in particular. :)
