Horn Upgrade
HI Folks, I have a K100RS with a great horn, necessary for idiots texting in cars!. My new bike is an R1150R and the horn is pathetic. What upgrade would you recommend?
Some years ago I put one of these on my 1100S and foolishly let it go with the bike. It was fantastic. I believe that Stebel went out of business a while back but they appear to have been resurrected. I had to get one from somewhere else (cheap copy from ebay) when i changed the one on my 12S
Should involve a relay too but I'm guessing you already know that

I have a Stebel Nautilus on my 1100S. It is fed via a relay direct from the battery via a fuse and pulls 18 amps! I used 6mm cooker cable. It sounds like a 44 ton Scania

I have a Stebel Nautilus on mine too. Wired using Monster speaker cable via a relay. Best reaction was on Nth Circular Neasden, homebound from the Ace, busy Sunday traffic, the loaded car reconsidered pulling in front of me from the slow lane and almost went into the nearside Armco.
Oyster. 1999 R1100S. Almost original.
