Givi tanklock bags and paging Popsky

Post by dave the german »

Has anyone used a Givi tanklock bag on their 1100s? If so, what plate did you use to secure it?

Phil, any chance you can post a pic of the fitting for the 1200s?

Cheers

Givi tank lock ring

This is the model you require Dave

On the bike, not as asthetically pleasing as the SW Motech that Boxered has on his 12 but at a 5th of the price I can live with that, it also looks better with the black tank, when my bike was silver it really stood out

Cheers Phil that model is still available at places but is superseded by BF22 (in case anyone else is after one). Looking at my tank I just wondered how it fitted but that clears it all up

I have the fittings on my GS1200 and HP2s - I get the impression it is for a small, light bag - nothing too heavy.

Great for the "instant-access" gear though.

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

I think you're right Al. I don't think I would like to trust a large bag to those fittings although they do make them. I've got a small bag for going to Europe with - enough for passport, wallet, camera, tickets etc
