Indeed we do Dave, and any new pretender would no doubt be festooned with all manor of electronic "rider aids" that just don't interest me.

It'll have ABS, by law, and I bet it's not the kind you can easily remove.

Having said that, the R1200RS IS available without all those 'tronic tools, 'cept ABS, but I doubt that anyone has ever ordered one in the basic form.

I would to be honest, the only accessories I'm interested in nowadays is what I ordered for my F8GS namely, main stand, heated grips and pannier rails. I grudgingly accepted the OBC as it was part of the Comfort Pack which included the bits I wanted and buying as a pack made it less expensive than ordering separately

Lovely pair of Jugs though :)

Can not see why they would do that.

They have got a good boxer line up already, in fact never has it been better.

R1200r sport, a new R90 sport. and a bloody able R1200rs.

sales in the GS boxer would have to plummet like a stone before they enticed riders with another sports bike.

They know their marketplace.

Saying that... all the adventure/ sports category/ retroville and scrambled no matter what bhp on tap is now an old mans market it may be the new pipe and slipper brigade, as imagined by young men coming into biking.
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.
