Does it come with an MOT?
Wonder if the brake fluid's been changed in 11 years?
Amazing that having only covered 1K (presumably dry) miles that it has fender extender fitted
Assuming the original owner paid retail price, which would have been around £8.5K, not much of an 'investment' was it

It will be interesting to see if it actually sells. It's too much money to buy it then ride it (especially as it's old technology now) and is it really rare enough to stick on a shelf? will it appreciate in value that much over say the next 10 years?

There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
In addition, for your £10K you get 10 year old tyres (Metzeler M1's) and some Caledonian Lock & Safe stickers on the side of the tank! Wonder how long they have been there?
What you don't get is a seat cowl or a number plate.
And they could have polished the headers !!

Modesty prevented me from including that.............
(or the bike that brought italian sex to a Japanese design - the 2004 R-1 )
There are quite a few bikes which you would happily have as a feature in a good-size hallway in a house (SP-1, SP-2, 916, 996, 748, MV F4, NC400, HP2s, Bonneville, Trident, Commando,)
The BCR is the "ginger-haired step-child" in that company.......
