Got back Saturday from seven days in France, first to Grenoble down the Route Napoleon to Castellane,a great ride through the Verdon Gorges then back up to Bourg Saint Maurice.Did a great ride from there to take in Italy and Switzerland and Col de L`iseran. The Boxercup was superb on these roads

Sounds like a great route; did much of it last year, but in reverse. Agree that those roads are peachy on an R11S
I was there in early June and we found the Col de L'Iseran shut due to snow! Meant tracking back 40 miles we'd covered plus another 30 or so just to get where we'd been less than 10 miles from.
Stopped in BSM on a glorious day and had a spot of lunch on a raised wooden platform at the side of the road in the centre of town. It was like a gallows platform...without the gallows Nice veggie pizza mind.
