Many thanks
Ohlins front and back on mine. Can't fault them but pricey when bought new or second hand for that matter, assuming you can find some.

Mine is an original BCR so pretty standard shock length. I assume they do longer versions for the taller RWB BCR unless the difference is made up in the length adjustment of the standard Ohlins ?? Someone will be along in a minute to clarify.

Abba stand is the way to go:

I had a pair of Ohlins under my BXC and it was amazing.
If you want them, move quick, because I don't think they will keep producing those models for much more.

My BXC was missing the steering damper, and I wanted to fit an Ohlins one, but they stopped producing brackets for it (this was 2 years ago).

I initially extended my rear Ohlins to the maximum lenght, in order to keep the bike as high as possible, but in retrospective... it just fucked things up a bit.
I had them sorted out in a second moment.

Properly set, the bike is stiffer with Ohlins as well (I had 160 spring) so you won't miss the originals that much. Difference in height is not terrible.

Metropolis2k bought the bike off me last spring. He can get into details as well as he worked on the bike extensively.

As er-minio says the rear is length adjustable so you can either use that to slightly lower it, keep it original or lengthen it like he did. I've actually kept the shock fully lengthened because I'm used to it now (despite not being his height) and once it was set up properly it handles brilliantly. I think the initial problems were an over-zealous setup!

I've got Nitrons on my 1150GS. I think you can tell the difference between the Ohlins and Nitrons but I don't have the Nitrons set up as well yet so I may be able to improve them further. Both much better than stock but I'm glad I have Ohlins on the S.
