R1200RT goes to the Nurburgring

Postby PBBoxer » Sat Aug 23, 2014 3:10 pm

We did the WW1 Ypres salient a week or so ago and then managed a few days near Cochem.

We got a couple of laps at the Ring and I took the RT for a ride

What a crazy place lol

Fantastic run! The 1200 really is a deceptively fast motor.

That's about 20 minutes faster than I managed on a much sportier bike although in defence I did stop at Huffenpuffen bend to change my underwear and double check my Keith Code book!
