Rear Brake Hose

Post by Al »

Has anyone got an unwanted but serviceable rear brake hose they can do without? mine split tonight and none of the usual sources have any.

Cheers, Al.

Al

I've probably got one but I'm not home until Sunday to check. If no-one else comes up with the goods send me a PM on Saturday and I'll look when I get back and let you know.

Thanks for the offers guys, I have decided to get a new Braided hose, it was only £24 and will look better as I am about to put the bike up for sale as soon as it has been mot`d and serviced and move over to a GS(probably)

Age and a dodgy left knee i`m afraid Bry, had a cartilage op in Jan, knee is fine for walking, sailing etc but I just get cannot get comfy on the bike, the trip to Llangollen earlier in the year was painful during the last 60 or so miles and it affects concentration as I am continually trying to change the leg position, on my 660 I have no issues as the knee bend is less of an angle rearwards so I am going to (try) to sell the 1100 and then go test ride some more upright bikes. I don`t think footrest lowering kits will help as they do dot give enough forward movement. Ideally I would like to stick with the boxer engine and do as Ryan has done with his GS but something like a Triumph Tiger 1050 is appealing as they are a fair bit cheaper year for year so we will see.

P.S. I will not be getting all the Ewan and Charley gear if I do get a GS.
