Hi all
I've got a Laser boxercup I muffler on my R1100s, and was curious to take out the dB killers to see what effect it has on the sound.
Google tells me to drill out the spot weld on the bottom of the exhaust tip.
Thing is, I can't figure out which one to drill? There is a single hole on the bottom of the tip, but it doesn't appear to be welded at all. Then there looks to be a spot weld on either side. But if I drilled those out, I'd end up with 3 holes on the bottom of each exhaust tip!
Anybody else come across a Laser muffler like this, and can offer some advice??
Removing DB thingies from Laser muffler?

Mine always sounded lovely with the baffles kept in. I had the Y piece too. Just put some more miles on it and cane it once in a while. It's plenty loud enough and sounds like a messerschmitt on the overrun.
