I have never felt that heated grips were ideal as they only keep the palm side warm(ish), if I was a regular winter rider (glad I don`t have to be now)I think a pair of heated glove liners would be a better bet, double the price of grips I know, but got to be a nicer experience for your pinkies and less hassle to wire up maybe? but your hands would have that all over glow, might be fun if your outer gloves are a bit porous tho` :shock:

Do not apologise it is a sign of weakness, it is only the forum members with Brail screens that spotted that anyway :wink:
