In a nutshell, he fell out of a pick up truck that was on loan to me, SFB (moi) had not wound up the window, he lost his balance and fell out as I was negotiating a bend and his kneecap took the brunt of the impact, cruciate ok but traumatised, patella not so good, open wound so infection was main concern. He is fine now, 5 more weeks with stookie on and fortunately I am still married (and alive!)eyore wrote:What happened to the poor doggie?

I had a hankering for a new SP-2 as my first bike after passing my test in 2004............ Not exactly a moment of clarity........
Still love the white or silver/black SP-2........... there is something brutal about the front end - that is beautiful. (The rest of the bike ain't too shabby either).
On sale at the time at £9,300 - which was the same price (MOL) as the BoxerCup?
SP-2 might have faired slightly better in depreciation stakes unless tracked?

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........
See if that works .....

They are a" nice" bike and there are still lots of low milers out there. The costs in use are low as it is Honda. Can be a harsh ride but wheels will not ovalise and it won`t leave you stranded (that is as long as you have binned the crap aftermarket alarms of that era) It is a no nonsense bike that is superbly engineered (gear driven cams, no belts then eh?) and well put together (apart from the plumbing of the front harness). Very satisfying bike to ride when you get it out of town. Can recommend, Will not be a drain on your resources. I can actually afford to ride this bike
