New tyre

Post by slparry »

My 'Cup needs a replacement front tyre, ebay have the required road attack but the cheapest (new) are £78 with postage, not too bad I guess but I thought I'd check with my local tyre place (Buckley Tyres) anyway.

Fair play £95 fitted and balanced, just ride in they remove/replace the wheel etc. Given I'd probably pay about £15 - 20 locally to fit to a bare wheel I'll take the no hassle option :)

It's got to be the way to go Steve, I shall always check the intertitty, but then go to my local Tyre man (Neil Arnold in Minehead) blatant plug I'm afraid but he is the guy who opened his shop on Saturday evening to fit a second hand replacement (not supplied by him) to Herrman's 12s.

IIRC his price was only a few quid more than the Internet fully fitted and balanced, made no sense to go elsewhere.

Steve/Phil - no problem plugging good service received, I'll move this to 'recommended stuff' if you like?

Just give me the nod if so. :)
