Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

I'll back that, my K12GT has been shockingly unreliable, however, in BMW's defence they've not shied (too much) from sorting it and .... touch wood.... it's good now, it's problems have all been little irritating things rather than major stuff.

Having said that, it's such a powerhouse of a machine that it's misbehaviour is forgotten once you get that buzz of adreneline from winding it open :)

Someone I know has had issues with his Japanese bike and the importer (Suzuki) have been very difficult about fixing it.

being honest I actuallly fancy a Buell, it's not so much HD I'm against it's that faux 1950's look they've locked themselves into whereas Buell had vision

I used to like them when they were first bought out i remember playing with [no i'm not name dropping] bowsers on a airfield when he first had it that was a nice bike, not sure what model it was but it went well, handled well, and stopped well
However the later ones just don't do it for me

Steve, have a gander at http://www.ukbeg.com/. Lots of info if you genuinely fancy a Buell.

The 1125R is the nearest thing to an 1100S, but totally different, if you catch my drift.
I had an XT12, Much fun, out handled a good few sports bikes on days out and was all day comfy, they do tend to bring out the hooligan, but............... they're very much a labour of love, If you don't like spending every 2nd day fettling or fixing something, then they're not for you. That's the reason I joined this clan, I needed something much more reliable :D
