Oil Filter Removal Tool

Postby Boxerlass » Wed Jan 19, 2005 11:37 am

Hi
Can anyone tell me whether this tool is the right one for the removal of the oil filter in the S please?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=25644&item=7948791845&rd=1

Any idea how much they would normally cost?
Trying to bag myself a bargain! Thanks in advance.

Can confirm absolutely that the tool for the K IS the same as the one for the R. I have had both bikes and the one tools fitted both.

Here in Italy it's about 10€ (more or less 7£).

I post here, maybe it's of some help if someone else decides to buy it:

wrench dimension: 74mm 14sides
made by:
Hazet: code number 2169
original BMW: code number 11 4 650, order number 99 99 9 11 4 650
Beta: serie 446 SE3 / 446 T / SE4
Wurth: I don't know code number...
Mahle: I don't know code number...

Ciao, Luca
Freddy: What a filthy job.
Igor: Could be worse.
Freddy: How?
Igor: Could be raining.

Pauline

£7.60 in Motorworks catalogue... thought they were about £6.00 from a BM dealer but not sure.

I'm still using the one I bought for my K75s way back in 1990 so yes, they're one and the same.

Adam :)
Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.
