to be honest I think the whole RID should've been on the 11S. It's fitted on all of the rest of the 11 series. Temperature, fuel, gear selected etc all in a neat little LCD. Shame it's not fitted :(

Too right mate. I imagine the topic's been beaten to death but I wonder if it's possible to buy one of those indicator heads you see on ebay for £20 and wire it in to the sender unit from an R1200C/R1150R/ROCKSTER. I mean where does the signal actualy originate at the g/box end?
