Things that look like meat. (Carnies in denial)

This is a little poem I wrote after looking at my wifes veggie options.
Things that look like meat,
They're not made from animals noses, lips or feet.
They're made by food technologists with Phd's in freezing peas,
Extruding Quorn in factories,
Things that look like meat.
With sausages they cheat.
More fat than flesh they're froze not fresh
They're squirted from a nozzle,
Not a sizzle more a sozzle.

Don't want your beans to look like beans
This meaty treat aint what it seems,
There is no rind and you will find
This mixed up grill is in your mind.
The streaky bacons only fakin'
The whopper burger's without murder.
The mutton curry has no goats,
For me the taste sticks in my throat.
We thank the wizards in white coats
For things that look like meat.
