Gloves

Postby adamski49 » Fri Nov 18, 2005 4:23 pm

I know I asked this last year but I never got around to buying new gloves and my Belstaff ones have done a more than adequate job until today... feck me it was cold.

Left home at 6 to be at Wandsworth Bridge Rd for 8. Cold hands after 15 mins, painfully cold hands after 25 mins, so painful had to stop on the hard shoulder after 35 mins  My hands haven't been this cold in years, although the -3 temp probably had something to do with it.

Anyway, simple choice. Do I go with the £70 ish Goretex, double cuff Held (or similar) glove or the £40 Hein Gericke Pathan gloves and a good quality thermal inner glove?... or A N other option? Any thermal glove recommendations?

And before you say it - I know heated grips and/or muffs are the answer but I don't do enough mileage to justify these add-ons... at least I hope I don't have to.

TIA

Adam :)

Have got 3 finger pathans and are great.

Have not used them yet this year.

Have got heated grips on the Tiger and this Am got to work after 35 miles and my fingers were V cold.

Will try the pathans Tuesday and report back.

Best ever gloves I ever had untill they leaked were the BMW comfortemp
£85.00 but very good (until they leaked and I returned them)

These might solve cold toes. Mine were bearable this morning, probably because my hands were so painfully cold.
