Anyone using these on their R11S? There are a few suppliers on line. Some you can cut out yourself. Wondered if any of you have recommendations? I'm looking for clear ones so as not to spoil the aesthetics and paintwork so grip factor is not an issue. I'm just not that kind of rider! Cheers.

On my last 1100S I cut a pair to shape from a sheet of clear plastic, like you it was for protection only .
Can't remember exactly who supplied it - maybe Oxford products - but it worked well. Made several templates until I was happy with the shape and then just cut them out with a very sharp Stanley knife.
Cheers

I had clear ones with raised bobbles I think "Stompgrip" was the maker - they make pads for Snow Boards hence the name. Very good quality product but pricey about US$55 a set

You could try some clear vinyl from a sign or wrapping place.
You'd only need half a metre offcut of clear and make some templates for the shape you want.

Thanks folks. May try the self cut out method when I get to be at a home for more than a couple days!

I'd recommend against the storm grip style ones if you're just doing it for protection as they can tear into your leathers. I use them on my track bike but for leg grip (and accept some wear on my leathers).
Still, I cut them myself on my spare 1100S fairings and they're easy to do so don't feel nervous taking that approach.
