I've had something of an on-going saga with a warped disc on the VFR. The dealer I got the bike from replaced the badly warped original offside disc (3mm run-out!!!) with another one from an old FireBlade but that too was warped. I really couldn't be bothered going back to the same place to be fobbed off yet again, but on chatting with someone at a friend's wedding recently he recommended Steve at...
ST Motorcycles in Foston which is just off the A1 between Grantham and Newark.
Steve took the badly warped disc in and re-trued it from 3mm run-out down to 0.2mm. Cost? 30 quid.
A great bloke - looks like James May's less well-groomed twin brother - who's done a superb job.
Very highly recommended.
