Read this a while ago and came across it again and thought I'd share.
Worth a read for under £2! it may well have been recomended to me on here actually....
It'll definatly go down well if you grew up in Manchester.

Kindle, ffs!
Anyway, he wears hi-vis and rides a gay Japanese cruiser, so it's highly unlikely he'll have written anything I'd be interested in.

Hello,
Yes you can - I have the Kindle app loaded on my playbook and it works well. Try
http://crackberry.com/how-get-amazon-kindle-your-blackberry-playbook
and you should get a set of instructions which actually work!
From what I remember you download a "loader" app and also the kindle app and then follow an easy set of instructions which even I could follow.
Best regards,
David

Dead useful
Thanks David. Seems a few of us picked up one of these bargain BB Playbooks. It's about time I moved beyond Boxertrix, TRD and Tetris

Yes we did!
I have also managed to copy some of my DVD's to it (You do the conversion work on your PC) so we can use the playbook when we go away on hols if we fancy watching a film. Although the output for the TV is HDMI, you can get a cable that gives you the Yellow, Red & white plugs that has an HDMI end which you can plug into a small Micro USB to HDMI (Female) plug giving you the ability to plug into less modern TV's which you might find in a hotel room
The free game Bubble Burst is stupid but strangely addictive.
Also I am told by a mate in the IT game that Blackberry 10 is due out soon which will give much more access to apps if that is your bag.
Have you tried downloading the free Drumkit app - Very anti social
Best regards,
David

Think i'm a bit [was going to say lot] thick when it comes to things like this i either need someone to do it for me or i need a one click sort of fix, i tried all day yesterday to download the amazon app for android tablets in the end i had joined google as i apparently needed to do that before i could download the kindle app then when i tried again it said something about my email address being wrong, sorted that then it told me i hadn't turned on the shoppin app and i needed to click the white shopping bag?
The one David put up looks far more complicated to me [connecting playbook to computer] i'll give it a few days before i try it again
However i did see a amazon kindle app for the computer i may try that just to get the one book

Honest it isn't. You just use the USB cable that came with the Playbook and allow the PC to recognise it and then literally follow the steps.
I am no expert when it comes to this either!
Best regards,
David

I've used the PC Kindle app at wor... I mean at home!
It's good and free, plus some decent reads for a few £ each, even if you dont have a full kingle (I'm hopin that will make Twinspark swear again!
).
Tip - set the text colour to white and the background to black, much less strain on the eyes from a PC screen.
