Nigel, will they be offering the HPE with single can/twin outlet like their Duc 749/999 full systems? It looks a metal version of the Akra.

Look forward to seeing pics of the Remus pipes. Pete. :)

Popped into Astle yesterday on my way down to Norfolk, They have now fitted an Akrapovic end can to the demo 1200s. Sorry but no way would I want to pay £975 for that. Imho it does'nt look anything special (not like most of Akrapovics products) and even the staff at Astle admitted that my bike sounded just as good with the Remus front pipes (no Cat) and std end can, All for less than a 1/3rd of the cost. I've now done around 800 miles since fitting the pipes and have no complaints regarding the bikes performance, If anything I would say that the Remus pipe's have helped in the lower part of the rev range without losing anything at the top.

Saw an Akra on a black one at the show and to be honest thought it was lurvly, but like you said, not worth the grand asking price.
Still waiting for Zard to get theirs available on the market and final prices etc

Take a look at the power graphs because the silencer only Akra gives less power in places. The front section yields the power once the cat has gone.

Correct.
The Akra front section is also not covered on BMW approved warranty like the rear section is, for those concerned about that sort of thing
