Nationwide travel insurance covers "you if you are on a motorcycle ridden by someone with the appropriate licence" i.e. rider or pillion. Annual policy £51, single trip £18.79
Just read the above on the ukGSer forum and this is obviously cheaper than the following recomendation but I'll leave it in anyway.
Citi Bank seems exceptionally cheap for a short trip although I'm not so sure about the annual cost.

I've been able to insure the bike, get annual European breakdown cover and travel insurance for my week in France (my Lloyds TSB travel insurance won't accept bikes
) for £50 less than my Carole Nash renewal
