SLIGHTLY better mileage. You jest. My Z6's had over 4k on them and looked a little over half worn at the rear and maybe half worn at the front.

I went from 010's to Z6's and was pleasantly surprised. Worth a try, especially over winter.

Adam :)
Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.

always done 010's and 020's, tried Z6's, suffered two blow-outs and weird cracking. Not to forget the suspect handling around corners and letting-go when I really didn't want it to. Now back on 020's :?

Been through about 4 sets of Z6's and have never had a problem.

When the present ones wear out I shall be getting another set :D

Just fitted a slightly used 010 on the rear, so it'll do for the next 2k. Proper size this time, a 180 for my 5.5", instead of the 170 which was on the bike at purchase. When this wears out, I reckon the front will be on canvas. Have not had any problem with these tyres, except their short life. So I want to buy a replacement pair between now and then. Roadtecs still sound favourite, good handling and longevity.
Anyone else ridden the Diablos to death to give a verdict on them?

err - yeah. Killed a rear Diablo stone dead (down to the steels and a bit beyond) in France coming home from a FLASH tour this year. Top tyre - even though it was totally fucked it was still completely stable. :D

I also had to push the brand new one as hard as I possibly could in order to make the ferry - the only slide I had was caused by gravel on a corner - they were solid and grippy (if a bit remote) until they wore in.

Life times are about equal to Z6's ime.

Have used Z6'S and they are very good, turning in quicker than 020's and also returning 6k+ mileage. I am currently using Pilot Roads at the moment. They dont turn as quick as the Z6's (less sporty) but are slightly more stable and much more confidence inspiring in the wet. I think it is because the grooves go right across the tyre whereas the Z6's have a solid strip down the middle (probably to increase mileage). I am expecting to get the same mileage from the Pilot Roads as the Z6's. I would recommend either tyre, but not 020's, they never felt sticky enough.
Watching you Focker!
