Thanks Chris. That's my serious pie contemplation face...
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Funny you should say that... Check out this video from the holiday, which I have created for Flash's Facebook/website.

Hey Paul, as well as your 'face' I see you are wearing your Halvarssons gear .
How did it do on the trip , which I take it was pretty warm ?

I have not bought the jacket yet but the trousers are pretty impressive in the warm weather. I rode to Wales and back in very warm weather last weekend and was distinctly impressed by how 'cool' I felt during the trip. I had the windproof liner out and the vent zips open and my body temperature seemed really well regulated.

Be interested to know you thoughts before I pull the trigger ion the Carat jacket .

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy,

Temperatures got up to a high of 38, but as long as I kept on the move it was not overly hot in the suit. I did treat myself to one of those cooling waistcoats though, which obviously helped. If I was being picky, I would say that the jacket could do with an extra pair of vents on the chest/shoulder area, to supplement the two on the side, but I would say, on the whole, I'm pleased with it. Certainly for the best the UK summer can throw at it, it should be perfectly fine.

I also had one day of rain on the trip, where I used the liners in the jacket and trousers, and they kept me dry in a couple of short but heavy downpours.

Cheers,

Paul

And may I say how 'cool' you did look !
Cheers - I've been using the trousers with a Streetguard 3 jacket and its a good combo as san alternative to leathers so I may stick with that

BTW - fantastic little film production

Very nicely done Paul. Recognised a few locations with a smile :)

I notice you took a drone with you but not much footage? Can we expect to see some more?

I took a small drone that I bought on a kickstarter funding site in January, but it only arrived about a week before I left for the holiday. It's still early days mastering piloting the damned thing. It's quite light so if there is any wind it is buffeted quite badly. It's also a bit of a tree magnet...

Cheers,

Paul
