Thanks Al , The original full day run will have to be tweaked a wee bit as I do not want to tempt fate by a wee excursion into Ayrshire. Scotlands South Coast may get a bit more attention. Having a tour about today to find a really ideal place for a lunch break. The weather forecast is looking favourable for the weekend. I am pleased to say.

I've just updated the long route (top of page) GPX route and map.

It's now fixed, as Chris has left £200 with Clatteringshaw Visitor Centre - to pay for your lunches.

Thanks for posting the route up Al, it is a fantastic run car or bike, the weather is looking favourable and the roads are not busy.

Hope you guys (and gals) enjoy a safe and interesting ride out.
I would have joined in except for old age and decrepitude, plus a U/S calf muscle which I can't trust to keep the bike upright when stationary with foot down.
Steve can't join in either as he is locked into his Wrexham county.
We'll both be there in spirit and look forward to easier circumstances and meeting up in 2021.

Well this is a funny old carry on we’re living through...
I read earlier that someone was coming in an MX5 and as my Boxster needs a leg stretch and I can only get away for the one night I’m going to bring that. So if mr MX5 owner wants a fun run on Saturday I’ll be at Penrith in the afternoon finding a fun way up to Selkirk to drop down into Moffat on the best 33mile route ever!!

Enjoy your drive Tim. The roads should be dry and if you want to join us at the Bucchie for dinner, let us have your menu choices..

Have fun and stay safe everyone.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Setting off in the morning. Looking forward to beer in a marquee. Claudios are doing takeaway so I’ll grab a pizza first.

Great run up the dales and Cumbrian routes yesterday to Moffat. Loved the big GS parked outside the Buckie!

Later Saw the Mx5s Parked in a quarum in the town centre while I went to pick up my takeaway special from claudios!!
