Bits and Bobs

Postby kitkat » Thu Dec 28, 2006 6:12 pm

Time to get a few bits and bobs for the 1200S. Any wise words or recommendations for soft luggage (tail pack or panniers), paddock stands and hugger? :?

Cheers

Dave

I bought the larger tail pack from BMW. It fits on prettsecurely and plenty of gear in there for a weekend. £110 retail but blag some off. Some of the other guys saw it on the Hawes weekend and a few thought it pretty neat. Its waterproof too.

I got the ilmberger hugger from our man Sandbar.

Ditto the hugger and BWM tail pack. :D

I went for the BMW 'lifter' in the end. Does the job, is secure and well made.

Got the Ilmberger hugger fitted, looks a lot better than the 1100S and that was nice.

Been looking at the Ventura luggage system, still have the bags from the 1100 and it is a great system.

Getting the Baglux tank cover in the New Year so that will be the other part of my luggage sorted.
