Centre Stand

Can someone do me a favour and give me some info- My centre stand foot is hitting (and damaging) the torsion bar when it flips up, and it looks like there's supposed to be some sort of stop on the cross bar of the centre stand that rests onto a plate on the CAT - Is that just a nut and bolt, or a nut and bolt and spring/rubber gromit or what. Dont want to just put a nut & bolt in there and whack a hole thru the CAT (yes I know that would do me a favour, and I should lose it and do the laser /power commander thing, but I aint got the cash)
Cheers, Dave

Is the stop fixed to the cat? I've got a spare cat assembly in the garage. I'll check when I get back at the weekend. Failing that then you need the centre stand stop from Wunderlich. It expensive for what it is but it works okay. Do a search on "centre stand stop". There's been a few threads on it.

As you've still got the cat in place, it sounds rather like just the rubber bung thing off the middle of the centre stand. There must be loads of unused ones on this board...
You really only need the wunderlich device if you've got rid of the cat (which is generally recommended). harry.
