Just some advice.
On what spark plugs to fit to my r1100s

...when I asked for the Brisks, the gave me a negative advice. On a stock bike : Ok, but with a aftermarket chip (I use a Laser) : don't do it !
...do you want a smoother engine : a good throttle balancing job, high octane fuel, chip, free flow exhaust, free flow filter, and what gave a BIG improvement in smoothness ; a bigger induct (I use such a CF one).
...all-in-all a 'bit' noisy, but smooooooth...! (especially in the 5000+ RPM range)

Same set up as me then. I might change them back to the Bosch Platties. I got the Brisks from Motorworks after speaking to Darren.

Thank you for the advice
I've spoken to Darren at motoworks.
I will be fitted brisks plugs in the next couple of days
also ordered a new oil filter and attachment for the oil filter.
£28 including VAT and delivery.
I will let you know, if the spark plugs have in proved anything.

NGK were always the best on the old Alfas and I have a bit of a soft spot for them.

I did have the url to a site where you can cross-reference the different makers' plug specs. I'll try and find it for you.
I always use an NGK Iridium (B8HVX in this case) in my MZ - overkill perhaps but the difference in engine smoothness is marked, to say the least. They're about 6 quid each, and worth every penny.
FR6DP's do work well in the BM's.
